Eivør belongs to me

And here is a new character ! This "lady" is in fact a guardian/guiding spirit , also called in norse landvættir. It/she was the spirit of a swamp before it was chosen for the location of a human city, which gave her two choices: die with her land or pack with a friendly dozen of will o' the wisps. Curiously, she chose the second option, often experienced by other spirits as proof of cowardice. Eivør settles in small human cities, where she is now selling advice and sophisticated herbal remedies . For those who guess her nature, her shop can be a little more than a kind of apothecary, where the spirit can use her landvættir "magic".
Actually, most of the problems she is supposed to eliminate by witchcraft are solved by a number of tricks such as help from friends of the fae world and a little bit of persuasion.
In my story, young Eldrid work in her shop, being one of the few humans who are able to see Eivør's wisps.
Eivør is a somewhat special character. She is "blind" in the sense that she does not see the same things as humans (she sees souls, spirits, energy flow, but not precises shapes or other things as mundane as colors). She is also an ethereal being. If her human form is relatively immortal, it is only a fragile shell that only manages to fool the less fussy humans.
If Eivør knows how to sell talismans and magical objects, her knowledge of the spirit world is encyclopedic. She can easily share the things she knows, if you don't mind leaving a box of chocolates and some tea on her porch. Spirit of nature or not, she enjoys the comforts of human life, something that her kind do not appreciate that much. This is a character who has lived a solitary life, but always remains neutral in her choices, favoring neither the human nor the other forces that go against them, as the good landvættir she is.
Long story short, she is a character I really wanted to show you, because it is already one of the two heroines of my nano 2015, but also a pretty cool character, with smoke gray hair and her notorious eccentricity. I hope you enjoy her (and the drawing as well) as much as I do !!
